I was met by welcoming and pleasant staff at the reception. The location of the hotel was very central, so close to pubs, so easy walk to town. I visited The Fletcher Christian quite a walk from the venue for a few drinks.

Fab staff and atmosphere, I really enjoyed it. The room was functional with modern bathroom and had iron/ironing board, an electronic key card and a work desk. They had an easy check-in.

The place is first-rate and overall clean, everything is excellent, it should have higher than 3 star rating. It has a handy location near the bus stop. Besides, easy to get to Cockermouth History Wall.

Ideal location, very efficient staff, all round excellent experience! The room was airy and immaculate, I had an electronic key card, a multi-channel television and ironing facilities. Excellent restaurant inside the hotel.

The hotel was what we loved during our weekend. Perfectly nice, neat venue with practical location. Breakfast was warm, lots of meats, eggs and fresh bread. The bed was spacious and it was great having coffee, decaf tea and 2 TVs. Staff was obliging. There was a magnificent restaurant, the shops and supermarkets next door.

I loved that the lobby was pretty. The breakfast here was enjoyable with homemade breads and jams, as for instance. Pool was great and the staff were super.

First-class service, exceptionally good breakfast, quiet location. Exceptionally comfortable beds, central heating, an electronic key card and a hairdryer were a nice touch. Speedy check-in, easy check-out. It was a SUCH GREAT experience.

The rooms are extremely functional, it is spotless and the staff is outstandingly friendly. Location is absolutely perfect, not too far from The Shining Tree.

It is attractive and competitive value for money. We liked that classic hotel. The place is 1 km away from Cockermouth downtown. An electronic key card, a work desk and flat-screen TV where provided.

We loved staff and food here. Comfy beds for a good sleep. Near to the downtown, 5 minutes on foot. It's ideally located within 15 minutes' walk of a bus station.
